Subject to change without notice
A versatile SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) projector with Canon LCOS technology and
USB port for PC-free presentations.
With SXGA+ (1400x1050) resolution and 3000 lumens, the
XEED SX80 Mark II is a versatile projector with Canon LCOS
technology that provides exceptional image quality and
supports high definition 1080p content. In addition, a USB
port allows for PC-free presentations and pict-bridge
compatibility for easy projection of content.
Key Features
Native SXGA+ resolution
With native SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050 pixels), the
XEED SX80 Mark II reproduces images with amazing clarity
and sufficient levels of detail even for specialist applications.
Canon LCOS technology avoids common projection image
drawbacks, reproducing detailed images without the
unwanted “lattice” or “rainbow” effects.
Exceptional brightness and contrast
With a generous 3000 lumens brightness and 900:1 contrast
ratio, the XEED SX80 Mark II delivers clear, well defined
images. Canon’s AISYS optical system maximises the
performance of the highly efficient AC projector lamp, for
powerful projection. Displaying deep blacks and vivid
colours, every subtle gradation is reproduced with clarity
and precision.
Easy placement
The SX80 Mark II is fitted with a Canon 1.5x powered zoom
projection lens, specially designed to combat distortion and
deliver perfect image geometry. In addition, the 10:0 lens
offset makes installation exceptionally easy.
PHOTO image mode
The SX80 Mark II features a new ‘Photo’ image mode,
specially designed for the optimum reproduction of sRGB
photographic images. By taking into account the colour tone
and brightness of the ambient light, photos can be
reproduced with superb colour accuracy, regardless of
variations in lighting conditions.
Fully automatic set-up
At the touch of a button, the projector automatically
configures four key settings: Focus, Keystone Correction,
Input Selection and Screen Colour Correction.

What is the Canon LCOS Advantage?
LCOS produces exceptional color, intricate detail and
HD images that leap off the screen in breathtaking
quality and integrity. Canon LCOS projectors create
detailed, color-rich images with text that is crisp and
dark. The advantages of LCOS are easy to see for
both presenter and audience alike: photos with rich
color, deep contrast, fine grain and sharp resolution.
PC-Free presentations
The XEED SX80 Mark II utilises USB technology, for direct
projection of image files from USB flash drives. Photographs,
slides and other images in JPEG format can be projected
directly from the flash drive. In addition, direct image display
is possible from PictBridge-compatible digital cameras.
