To get started we suggest that you

Note that capital letters are used to

refer to settings displayed in the menus

and buttons labeled on the camcorder

itself e.g. Press the MENU button.

confirmation beeps are indicated by `

in the illustrations. Beeps sound to

confirm your operations, e.g. Turn the

POWER switch to MOVIE (p. 13).
