Playlist is full. Cannot divide the scene.

- Scenes cannot be divided when the playlist already contains 999 scenes. Delete some scenes

from the playlist (0 91).

Recording program: Underwater / Surface

Turn on the camcorder while holding PHOTO pressed down to change the recording program

rXs.

- Follow the instructions to switch the recording program between [Underwater] and [Surface]

while the camcorder is secured inside the optional WP-V2 Waterproof Case.

Scene recorded using another device. Cannot divide the scene.

- Scenes recorded using another device and then transferred to a memory card connected to

the computer cannot be divided with this camcorder.

Select the desired scene number

- A number of scenes have the same recording date but different file control information. This

can occur for example when you edit photos and write the files back to the camcorder. Select

a number to display the corresponding group of scenes.

Some B photos could not be deleted

- Protected photos (B) cannot be deleted. Remove the protection (0 110).

Some scenes could not be added to the playlist.

- You may not be able to add to the playlist scenes recorded using another device and then

transferred to a memory card connected to the computer.

- The playlist can contain a maximum of 999 scenes. If the playlist includes scenes recorded in

MXP or FXP mode, the maximum number of scenes in the playlist may be less than 999.

Delete some scenes from the playlist (0 91).

Some scenes could not be deleted

- Movies that were protected/edited with other devices and then transferred to a memory card

connected to the computer cannot be deleted with this camcorder.

Task in progress. Do not disconnect the power source.

- The camcorder is updating the memory. Wait until the operation ends and do not disconnect

the compact power adapter or remove the battery pack.

The camcorder is set to photo mode

- You pressed g while recording photos ( mode). Set the camcorder to

or mode to record movies.

The lens cover is not fully open. Turn the camcorder off, then on again.

- The lens cover did not open fully. Turn the camcorder off, then on again. If this does not solve

the problem, consult a Canon Service Center.

This memory card contains scenes. Delete all scenes to use relay recording.

- Save your movies (0 123) if necessary, and delete all the movies from the memory card

(0 53).
