APERTURE PRIORITY

You select the aperture for control of

depth-of-field whilst the camera sets the

shutter speed.

SHUTTER SPEED PRIORITY

You set the shutter speed while the camera

selects the aperture according to available light.

SPECIAL SCENE

This mode has automatically stored presets

for shooting various scenes. You can select

them to ensure the most appropriate settings,

without having to use the manual controls.

EXIF PRINT

Exif Print is a standard for enhancing the communication

between digital cameras and printers. By connecting to an Exif Print compliant

printer, image data is extracted from the camera in the optimum way, resulting

in prints that are more faithful to the image that was captured.

PHOTOSTITCH

Canon’s Stitch Assist mode allows you to create panoramic

shots from multiple images. Up to 26 separate images can

be seamlessly joined together with the supplied PhotoStitch

software, to create a single stunning wide-format picture.

ZOOMBROWSER EX & IMAGEBROWSER

ZoomBrowser EX (for Windows) and ImageBrowser (for Macintosh)

allow you to transfer, browse, archive and retouch your pictures with

ease. You can also access the shooting information for any image,

make slideshows and resize images for sending via e-mail.

CANON iMAGE GATEWAY is your very own personal online gallery space – included with all Canon digital camera and SELPHY

Compact Photo Printer purchases. Upload favourite images and movie

clips onto your very own 100MB permanently online storage,

then direct friends and family to individually secure online ‘albums’ that they can view at will – no more dealing with cumbersome attachments.

PRINT PHOTOS DIRECTLY FROM YOUR CAMERA

You don’t need to use a computer to get digital photo prints. All you need to do

is plug your Canon Digital Still Camera into any PictBridge compliant or existing

Canon compact photo printer with the supplied cable and select your favourite

shot. Within seconds you will be holding a full lab-quality colour photo.

The Print/Share button found on most current Canon Digital Still Cameras

makes things even easier.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AUTO FOCUS

AiAF lets you focus even when your subject is not in the centre of the

frame. It also automatically locates the most important part of the

frame and gives the optimum exposure for that area.

FLEXIZONE AF/AE CONTROL

FlexiZone AF/AE control lets you choose where to focus almost anywhere

in the frame by moving the auto-focus window in the viewfinder.

Perfect focus is then assured.

Easy printing

Canon’s ‘My Colors’ feature allows you to alter the colours of your image or movie,

on the camera. Simply select one of the 9 sub-modes before taking your shot:

choose from Vivid Red, Vivid Blue, Vivid Green, Positive Film, Lighter Skin Tone,

Darker Skin Tone, Color Accent, Color Swap or Custom Color. You can then decide whether you wish

to keep both the original image and edited image or just the edited image (if you use My Colors

while recording a movie only the edited movie will be saved). They’re your shots – now they’re

your colours too!

PHOTORECORD

PhotoRecord lets you create and print digital photo albums,

with text, backgrounds, picture frames and more, all with easy

step-by-step selections.
