Shutter Sound Sets the shutter sound when you
depress the shutter button. There is no
shutter sound while a movie is being
shot.*

To actually turn off the sound of the start-up sound, shutter
sound, operation sound, and self-timer sound individually,
[Beep] in the [
(Set up)] menu must be set to [Off]. If [Beep]
is set to [On], the beep sounds even if each sound item in the
[
(My Camera)] menu is set to [Off].
