® Self-timer Mode

You can use the self-timer mode to include yourself in

pictures by delaying the shutter release. Place the camera on

a steady surface, or mount it in a tripod when using the

self-timer mode.

1. Turn the mode dial to o .

2. Place the center of the viewfinder over the

subject.

3. The green indicator lights up when the shutter

button is pressed and the self-timer starts.

• The red-eye reduction lamp starts flashing and the

shutter is released after approximately 10 seconds.
