* In mode only [Continuous] is available.
* In and modes only [Single] is available.
You can set the AF mode.
Switching between Focus Settings
Shooting Mode
Continuous
The camera is continually focusing on whatever it is aimed
even when the shutter button is not pressed, allowing you to
shoot without missing opportunities.
Single
The camera only focuses when the shutter button is pressed
halfway, conserving battery power.

Select [AF Mode].
1. Press the button.
2. Use the or button to select
[AF Mode] in the menu.

Make settings.
1. Use the or button to select
[Continuous] or [Single].
2. Press the button.
This will be set when the AF frame mode is set to [Face Detect],
[FlexiZone] or [Center]. This will be fixed to [Single] when the
AF frame mode is set to [AiAF] (p. 116).
