Advanced Shooting Functions
Shooting in Manual Focus Mode
The focus can be manually set.
To Cancel the Manual Focus:
Press the MF button and use the or button to select
(Normal).

Turn on the LCD monitor.

When the menu’s [MF-Point
Zoom] is set to [On], the portion of the
image in the AF frame will appear
magnified* (p. 50).
* The image will not appear magnified in mode, when the digital zoom is
used or when a TV is used as the display.
Depending on the shooting mode, pressing the button will
switch between the setting items as follows:

Use the or button and adjust the focus.
The MF indicator shows approximate figures. Use them as a
shooting guideline only.
