Direct Network Scanning
With the ScanFront 220/220P models, scanning and sending
documents to multiple destinations on a network is easy.
With a few simple touches, users can:
Users can set up their own private address books or use
the shared or LDAP options.** Multiple addresses, even
of different destination types, can be grouped together
as a single entry for easy sending.
Intuitive Operation
The ScanFront 220/220P scanners are extremely easy to
use, thanks to the intuitive GUI (Graphic User Interface)
on the touch-panel display. The large, easy-view 8.5"screen
allows users to preview high-quality scanned images in
color for proofing prior to sending. Users can set up their
own individual “My Job Buttons” or use the “Shared Job
Buttons” for one-touch access to frequently performed
scanning tasks. And network administrators can remotely
connect to the ScanFront 220/220P scanners via Web
browser and centrally manage settings, user accounts,
and more.
Robust Security Features
The ScanFront 220/220P scanners prevent unauthorized use
with a secured user authentication method that verifies
users by ID and password or fingerprint.

A detailed log file
of all scanner activity is available, allowing administrators to
monitor outgoing transmissions. And after a document is
scanned and sent, the secure memory wipe function auto-
matically clears all document data from the scanners.

Canon designed the imageFORMULA ScanFront 220/220P
scanners to be both environmentally and user-friendly.
Save energy and costs by eliminating the dedicated PC
needed with regular scanners and superfluous hard-copy
distribution of documents from one location to another.
** LDAP Address Book Server must be enabled and set up for users to access
this Address Book.
