Printing Over a Fixed Form

You can print data overlapping a xed form stored in the device. This function is known as overlay printing.

To Save a Fixed Form in the Computer or the Device

Display the [Page Setup] sheet.

Click [Page Options].

In the [Page Options] dialog box, display the [Overlay] sheet.

Select [Processing Method] > [Create a Form File] → specify a le name.

Click [OK].

To Perform Overlay Printing

Display the [Page Setup] sheet.

Click [Page Options].

In the [Page Options] dialog box, display the [Overlay] sheet.

Select [Processing Method] > [Use Overlay Printing] → select the form le to use from

[File List].

If the information cannot be acquired from the device, [File List] is not displayed. If this happens, enter the le

name in [File Name].

You cannot use a form created in color when printing in black-and-white.

Click [OK].
