You do not need to decompose clips when you use the AMA method.

To link clips on a volume automatically with AMA:

Insert your Compact Flash card with XF300 or 305 footage captured on it

into the device. The system scans the device and links the clips into a bin

(based on the AMA settings).

To manually link clips from another volume with AMA:
