1.2.1 ADF controller circuit board input (1/2)

Toggles between ‘1’ and ‘0’
as the feed motor rotates.
Pickup unit cover sensor
Separation sensor
Document set sensor
Goes to ‘0’ when a document is
detected.
(I.e. when there is no light
blocking plate in the sensor.)
Goes to ‘0’ when the document
blocks the sensor.
Goes to ‘0’ when the pickup
unit cover is opened.
(I.e. when there is no light
blocking plate in the sensor.)
Outputs analogue voltage
corresponding to the width of
the documents stacked on
the document tray.
Pre-registration sensor
Document width detection dial
Goes to ‘0’ when the document
blocks the sensor.
Final document detection sensor
Goes to ‘1’ when the
document blocks the sensor.
