is displayed when the camera detects that people may have closed their
eyes.
Choose .
z Touch H, choose in the menu, and
then choose (p. 49).
Configure the setting.
z Touch H, touch n, choose [Blink
Detection] on the 4 tab, and then choose
[On] (p. 50).
Shoot.
X A frame, accompanied by , is displayed
when the camera detects a person whose
eyes are closed.
z To restore the original setting, choose [Off] in
step 2.
The display will not magnify if a face was not detected, or if the
person is too close to the camera and their face is too large for the
screen.
The magnified display will not appear when using the digital zoom (p. 61), digital
tele-converter (p. 115) or Servo AF (p. 118).

Still Images
When you have specified multiple shots in $ mode, this function is only
available for the final shot.
