Changing the Flash and Red-eye Reduction
The flash can be made to fire every time you take a
picture, or it can be turned off. Choose the mode
suitable for the subject and place you are shooting.

You can check the mode
on the LCD panel.
In other modes
•( i) /-(V )<S>N
No ® setting in mode.
'In auto flash. > is displayed before the flash fires.
■ When you turn the dial, the camera returns to the |
flash mode that was originally set.
• If the power is turned off after setting auto flash with
red-eye reduction, it will return to this mode when the
power is next turned on ®.
Turn the dial to return to the initial settings for 9
mode (flash on with red-eye reduction ®). j
