Holding the Camera

•To take sharp pictures, hold the

camera firmly so that it does

not move.

•Hold the camera with both

hands.

• Keep your elbows close to your

body.

•Hold the camera against your

nose and look through the

viewfinder.

• Be careful to keep hair and

fingers from blocking the lens,

AF light emitter and receptor,

AE light receptor, and flash.

Shutter Button Action

This camera has a two-step

shutter button. Press it

halfway to focus ®, then

without releasing your finger,

press it fully to take the

picture (D.

Be sure to press the shutter

button gently.
