Shooting - Selecting Particular Effects
Changing the ISO Speed
Change the ISO speed when shooting in dark places or when you want to shoot
with a faster shutter speed. You can choose from the following speeds: Auto, 50,
100, 200 and 400.
1
Press the
/ /
button.
2
Select * (ISO Speed) using C or D on
the multicontroller.
* The current setting is displayed.
3
Select the desired setting using B or A
on the multicontroller.
You can shoot the image right after selecting
settings by pressing the shutter button. This
screen will appear again, once the image is shot.
4
Press
or the
/ /
button.
5
Shoot the image.
Higher ISO speeds increase the image noise. To take clean images, use as low an
ISO speed as possible.
Some settings are not available with certain Shooting modes. Please refer to
Functions Available in Each Shooting Mode (p. 180)
The ISO speed is automatically adjusted between ISO 50 to ISO 150 equivalent
when [AUTO] is selected.
