Maintenance
Cleaning the roller
Clean the roller when envelopes do not feed correctly.
Follow this procedure to perform roller cleaning:
1 Remove any print media from the multi-purpose tray.
2 Press [Menu].
3 Use [22

] to select <MAINTENANCE>.
4 Press [Set].
5 Use [22

] or [33

] to select <ROLLER CLEANING>.
6 Press [Set].
7 When cleaning has finished, repeat this procedure twice more. Then load letter-size
plain paper and repeat this procedure a further three times from step 2.
4 When you are finished, close the feeder
cover until it clicks.
5 Reconnect the power cord and turn on the
power.
