Hot Folders for More File Types
Improves reliability of pre-pressed workflow
With the use of Hot
Folders, users can
convert TIFF/IT,
CT/LW pre-pressed
files into PostScript
files or PDF files.
Also, they can
process imposition
settings and print
optional information
on a client PC. Page sizes, image position and size
can be set for JPEG, TIFF and EPS files.
Running on both Windows and Mac OS X platforms,
the Hot Folders help the users to enhance the workflow
smoothly in various work environments.
Elimination of Suspension on
Mismatch
Passes over mismatched jobs
Allowing users to skip mismatched print jobs, this
feature is designed to give higher priority to the jobs
waiting for printing.
Normally, if the selected form is not set in the tray,
the job will be aborted and the printer stops functioning,
awaiting further manual instructions. However, this
feature eliminates suspension on mismatch, enabling
printing constantly without trouble.
Control Bar
Confirms print settings and job information
This feature allows users to print out the selected
color bar and job information accurately, such as
printing date as well as time and color settings. Also,
it supports smooth checking operation by registering
the specific print settings.
Paper Catalog
Features maximum paper control
Connected to the database controller, the Paper
Catalog feature helps users store versatile media
types and sizes, glossiness/basis weight, and output
profile. Contents of Paper Catalog can be edited and
saved in Command Workstation (Windows Platform)
and can be shared with other controllers by reading
and writing the contents in XML format.
Rush Print
Allows users to printed “urgent” jobs
instantaneously
With Rush Print feature, users can mark the job as
“urgent”. When a job is marked “urgent”, the current
printing job will be interrupted, allowing the urgent
one to be processed or printed immediately.
Print Next
Enables users to move next printing job
Without interrupting the current processing or printing
job, the Print Next feature allows users to select any
job that will be processed or printed after the current
one.
