Using a Compact Power Adapter
(Sold Separately)
You should use the separately sold Compact Power Adapter
CA-560 when using the camera for long periods of continuous use
or for connecting to a computer or printer.

Attach the power cord to the compact power adapter
and plug it into a power outlet.

Open the terminal cover and connect the DC plug of
the compact power adapter to the camera’s DC IN
terminal.
z Always disconnect and unplug the compact power adapter
after use.
z Always turn the camera’s power off before connecting or
disconnecting the compact power adapter.
z Only use the Compact Power Adapter CA-560 with cameras that
use Battery Pack BP-511A, Battery Pack BP-511, Battery Pack
BP-512 or Battery Pack BP-514.
