Shooting – The Basics
Fireworks
Appropriate for shooting fireworks
clearly with the optimal exposure.
Underwater
Appropriate for shooting images
with the All Weather Case AW-
DC20 (sold separately). This mode
yields image data in the optimal
white balance to record images in
natural hue by reducing the bluish
tone.
Indoor
Prevents camera shake and
maintains the subject's true color
when shooting under fluorescent or
tungsten lighting. The exposure is
regulated so as to avoid the use of
flash as much as possible.
1 Set the mode switch to
(Special Scene mode).
2 Select * from the button.
* The current Scene mode screen is displayed.
3 Select the scene you wish to
shoot using or .
z You can shoot the image right after selecting
settings by pressing the shutter button. The
menu displays again after the shot, allowing
you to change the settings easily.
z Shooting procedures are the same as for the
Auto Mode (p. 31) excluding .

4 Press the FUNC. button.
