Shipping/Delivery/Install/Initial Training
RPG Plus Plan (Setup/Install/Basic Training)
As an option, the client may select the RPG Plus Plan. The client is to notify
RPG when the device is received. RPG staff will set up the device, install
drivers on up to 2 workstations (or network server), and provide basic
training to key operator(s). IT support is required from the client to provide
IP address and network information. Additional fees may apply if a return
request is made after the initial install for technical support and training, or if
the install is rescheduled at the time of the prearranged install.
RPG Freight
For an additional fee RPG will receive the unit,
prep the device, and deliver to the client site if
within the RPG service area. RPG will utilize a
local authorized vendor if outside of the RPG
service area.
Drop Ship
For no additional fee, equipment can be drop
shipped to the client site (loading dock). The
device will be shipped in an oversized box (or
multiple boxes depending upon the device).
The shipped dimensions can typically be
found in the device brochure. The client will
be responsible for set up, install, and self
training.
Manufacturer/Non-RPG Service
Locations
In some instances, the manufacturer or an
authorized service provider will handle the
delivery and install process; the process will
vary from above.
Delivery Access
All shipments/deliveries are based on standard access. You should always
review the access from the street to the final installation location with your
RPG point of contact to assure no additional costs occur. Typical issues
include stairways, tight corners, doorways, elevator size, etc. In most cases,
RPG staff will schedule an on-site visit to review delivery access and desired
space. Power and network needs are also addressed during the on-site visit.
If RPG cannot access, a Rigging 3rd Party company may be required to provide
a solution. Client will be responsible for any Rigging costs.
Space, Power and Network Access
It is the client responsibility to provide adequate space, proper power require-
ments and network access before the delivery tales place. RPG provides
equipment specifications for specific equipment. In most cases, RPG staff
will schedule an on-site visit to review delivery access and desired space.
Power and network needs are also addressed during the on-site visit.
