SERVICE AGREEMENT RIDER

RPG provides a Service Agreement Rider option for our contract

customers. You now have the option to add IT maintenance services,

in addition to traditional break-x coverage, for all eligible equipment.

A perfect solution for companies with overtasked or non existent IT

personnel/departments.

IT Service Agreements enhance our world-class equipment service

by adding professional IT Maintenance Services. Our IT Service

Technicians have years of experience with conguring network

multi-function printers, scanners, and copiers in small, medium,

and enterprise environments. Our specialty is Digital Print Solutions,

so we are the vendor of choice for conguring your printer network

in the most productive and effective way possible.

RPG Digital will provide the following services at

your request:

User Training:

Unlimited training for new hires, new positions on how to operate

the equipment.

Hardware Training:

Train users to power on and off system correctly, load paper,

load toner, and clear paper jams.

Copier Training:

Train users on basic copying, sets build feature (if applicable),

enlargement/reduction features, and quality adjustments.

Train users on the use of the print/scan software, how to

address media size mismatch, scanner le formats (TIFF, PDF,

JPEG), important information regarding scanning resolutions

(75-400 dpi), and retrieving les.

Printing Network Support

Featuring IT support services unique to CAD environment

 Determine Static IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, &

configure DHCP in Windows Server with IP reservation.

 Download and uncompress current Windows Print Driver,

and install Windows GDI print driver on customer’s server.

 Create a network port on customer’s server & determine

Printer Share Name.

 Share print queue for workstations.

 Install shared printer driver on workstations. (2 included)

 Install AutoCAD Windows System Printer, or download and

Port management and Conguration

Server to properly report on equipment status, such as paper stocks, toner and ink levels, or paper jams.

Network printers require a xed address, and maintaining unique addresses is important to prevent

conicts. RPG Digital monitors your address pool so new devices can be quickly added without

affecting your network.

Best practices for Printer Naming and Identication

Identical printers in multiples ofce on several oors can cause headaches for your mobile users

just trying to get a quick printout. Your IT department has named the printer \VCYPRT0116C, but

you want to call it HP LaserJet 9000. RPG Digital can recommend best practices so printers are

easy to nd and easy to use.

DHCP Server Conguration

RPG Digital will congure your DHCP Server so network addresses can be assigned dynamically,

and changed as required without visiting each printer in your organization.

Print Driver Installation and Updates

are installed for your specic situation, and update the drivers as necessary.
