Routine Maintenance

 Examining The Nozzle Check Pattern

The nozzle check pattern should appear as follows when ink is discharged properly.

Examine the nozzle check pattern output by the machine.

z If the lines are broken (1), or white lines (2) are present in the pattern (A), replace the relevant

ink tank. (See “Replacing A FINE Cartridge” on page 76.)

z There are no white stripes./All patterns are printed normally.

(1) Select <All A> and press [OK].

The screen returns to the Maintenance screen.
