Starting to Use the Various Functions of the Machine

Press [Register/Edit].

Press [Register New Dest.].

Press [File].

Enter a name → press [Next].

In this example, <Original> is is entered.

Specify the following settings → press [OK].

In this example, the following settings are specified:

<Protocol>: [Windows (SMB)]

[Host Name]: \\user-1\share

[User Name]: user_name

[Password]: password

• For [Host Name], enter <\\<name of your computer>\<name

of the shared folder>>.

• For [Folder Path], enter <\\<name of a folder inside the shared

folder>>. This can be omitted as necessary.

Press [Close].

Press [OK].

Sending Data to a Computer

Send a scanned original to the shared folder registered in

“Storing New Addresses,” on p. 34.

Place your originals.
