The POWER Light Flashes Orange
Eight ashes: Waste ink absorber almost full
The printer has a built-in waste ink absorber to hold the ink that is consumed during print
head cleaning.
Eight ashes indicate the waste ink absorber is nearly full. Press the RESUME button to
skip the error so you can continue printing.
Call the Canon Customer Care Center for help to have the waste ink absorber replaced
immediately.
Getting Help From Canon
When the waste ink absorber becomes full, the POWER light ashes
orange and green alternately, and printing will no longer be possible.
Call the Canon Customer Care Center.
The POWER light ashes orange and green alternately: Service error
A service error means the printer requires the attention of a qualied technician.
Count the number of ashes. (You may be asked for this information.) Call the Canon
Customer Care Center.
