Selecting a Control Mode
The printer’s Control mode determines whether the BJC-70 printer
functions in Canon BJ mode or Epson LQ mode. In Canon BJ mode, the
printer emulates any Canon Color Bubble Jet printer or the IBM Proprinter
X24E. In Epson LQ mode, the printer emulates the Epson LQ printers.
To set the printer’s Control mode, follow these steps:
1. Press the MENU button once.
The printer beeps once when it enters Menu mode.
2. Press the MENU button two more times.
The display shows the two control modes.
3. Press the button to select the desired control mode.
4. When the desired Control mode is blinking, press the ON LINE
button.
The ON LINE light comes on.
Printing in the selected control mode is enabled.
