a) Sensor tests
Select the sensor test from the faculty test menu by pressing the numeric key 3 or keys. In this test, you can check
the status of each sensor of this fax in item 1 on the display. You can also check if sensors that use actuators and
microswitch are operating correctly by moving the actuator or microswitch.
NOTE:
The sensor tests cannot be used to test all of the sensors. The following sensors cannot be tested with the sensor tests:
Pickup sensor
If any of above sensors are faulty, an error message or service error code will appear to indicate the faulty sensor.

b) Operation panel tests
Press the numeric key 7 or and key form the faculty to select 6-7:operation panel tests from the faculty test menu.
In this test, check that the display, LED lamps, and keys on the control pane are operating correctly.
b-1) Display test
If you press Start key in the menu of the operation panel, 20 letters of "H" are displayed in two lines. If you press
Start key one more time, all the LCD dots are displayed. If you press Stat key again, "_"is displayed. Check if there
are no LCD dots that are not displayed by performing this operation.
b-2) LED lamp test
Press the Start key to select the LED lamp test after the display test is complete.
When the Start key is pressed, all the lamps on the control panel light. Check for any LED that does not light during

Select the "6-3-1", and press the set button.
Select the "6-3-3", and press the set button.
