Various Shooting Methods
To Cancel the Shortcut Button
Select in Step 2.
Using the Button
1
Press the button.
• , and : Switches the settings each time the
button is pressed.
• , and : Displays the corresponding setup screen.
• : Records the white balance data each time the button
is pressed. As the frame does not appear at this point, position
the white paper or cloth so it appears in the center of the LCD
monitor and then press the button. After using this
function one time, the white balance setting changes to
.
• : Pressing the button when the mode switch is set to
or starts movie recording with the recording pixels and
frame rate settings selected in (Standard) mode.
• : When the button is pressed, the LCD monitor display
will turn off. Pressing a button other than the ON/OFF button, or
changing the camera’s vertical/horizontal orientation will
restore the LCD monitor display.
• : Pressing the button emits a sound and is useful for
directing your subject’s attention to the camera right before
taking a shot.
