About the Battery Charge Displays
The following icons and messages will display.
If the indicator blinks orange and the camera shake warning
icon ( ) displays, this indicates that a slow shutter speed may
have been selected due to insufficient illumination.
Use the following methods to shoot:
- Set the IS mode to any setting other than [Off] (p. 70)
- Raise the ISO speed (p. 71)
- Select a setting other than (Flash off) (p. 64)
- Attach the camera to a tripod or other device
Display Message
Sufficient battery charge.
Recharge the battery soon for extended use.
(Blinking red) Low battery charge. Recharge the battery.
Change the battery
pack.
Battery is depleted and the camera can no longer
operate. Charge the battery immediately.
