5. Do not attempt to touch the surface of the photosensitive drum of the cartridge. Further, do
not clean the photosensitive drum.

6. Do not place the cartridge upright or turn it over. Be sure it is laid with the label surface facing
upward.
7. Do not disassemble the cartridge.
Reference: If the photosensitive drum is exposed to light of 1500 lux (general lighting) for 5 min
and then left alone in the dark for 5 min, the faults can be corrected to a level satis-
factory to practical uses. It is nevertheless important to avoid direct rays of the sun,
which is about 10000 to 30000 lux in intensity.
