28 Paper Handling Chapter 3
If paper runs out in one paper source, copying can continue using the other.
IMPORTANT
• This function only works when both paper sources are loaded with paper of the same size and type.
• This function only works when both paper sources are loaded with A4, Letter, 4"x6" or 5"x7" size
paper.
Follow this procedure:
1 Press [Menu] repeatedly until <4.SYSTEM SETTINGS> appears.
The displayed menu number differs according to the selected mode.
2 Use [ ] or [ ] to select <AUTO FEED SWITCH>.
3 Press [OK].
4 Use [ ] or [ ] to select whether to use both paper sources.
5 Press [OK].

IMPORTANT
Load plain paper (A4-, letter-, or legal-size) when receiving faxes.

Follow this procedure:
1 Open the Auto Sheet Feeder (1), then pull out the Paper Support (2).
The Paper Support can be extended in two parts.
ON: Use both paper sources.
OFF: Do not use both paper sources.
